Drainage is rarely built exactly as designed. Chambers move, levels change and runs are rerouted around obstructions found on site. An as-built drainage survey records what was actually installed, so the client receives an accurate drawing rather than a design drawing with a revision cloud.

We lift and survey every chamber, record cover and invert levels, pipe sizes and connections, and pick up positions on your site grid or Ordnance Survey coordinates. CCTV of the new runs confirms connections and condition at handover. The drawing is produced in CAD to your layer and title-block standards if you provide them.

Why it matters after handover
The as-built drawing is what the client’s facilities team, future contractors and Scottish Water (where sewers are vesting) rely on for years after the project ends. Inaccurate records lead to strikes, longer repair call-outs and disputes. A surveyed as-built protects the contractor, satisfies the client and completes the health and safety file properly.
